You blog was very straight forward and to the point. You posted some great pictures of the primates teeth. I do feel like you could of added some more info about the teeth. Like how many different kinds of teeth each primate has. And what are the function of each kind of tooth.

ReplyDeleteYou were at your best discussing the chimpanzee with the connection made specifically between the environment/diet and the dentition of that primate. That's the type of analysis I was looking for.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture of the toothcomb, but there was no identification made of that unique structure.
Otherwise, more thorough coverage of the environment and dentition of each primate was needed for this assignment. I would also like more explanation as to what you mean by the repeated statement "teeth are consistent with diet and lifestyle".
I suggest you check out the student blog posts of A. Jones, C. Jensen and A. Interiano who also reported on dentition to review the material on this topic.
